Coronavirus scare at Gold Coast beauty salon after beautician tests positive following trip to Iran

40 people who went to a Gold Coast salon and were treated by a beautician who has been diagnosed with coronavirus are being tracked down by the health departments.

She began to feel sick after returning to work in the Shopping center.

The Australian state’s chief health officer, Jeannette Young, said the woman did facial treatments on up to 40 clients, in sessions lasting less than 15 minutes.

Outbreak Workplace Measures.

Only 130 Beijing barbershops were allowed to open by Monday, February 30, 2019, only a tiny fraction of the more than 20,000 that usually operate across the city.

That’s .0065 percent four of the JF Pro Salon’s eight Beijing beauty businesses in the city.

Customers must maintain a distance of no less than 1.5 meters (5ft) between chairs.

You will have to make personal calls to EVERY customer who made reservations on the day of their appointment.

📳Ask if they have a cough or a fever, symptoms of pneumonia caused by the virus that causes 🦠Covid-19?

“Now we try to wash hair faster and cancel unnecessary services so as to cut down on the time with customers,” said Fu Jun, founder of JF Pro Salon.

“We keep the door open every day. Once the customers who made reservations arrive, we will 🧼disinfect their hands and 🚿shoe soles. These are the measures we take to ensure safety.”

40 percent of your employees/booth renters could work others should self-quarantine if they have a weakened immune system.

Nonpharmaceutical interventions (NPIs) are public health actions that can slow the spread of emerging respiratory diseases like COVID-19 for which vaccines and drug treatments are not yet available.1  They include personal protective measures implemented by individuals and community measures implemented by affected communities.1   NPIs are used to build community preparedness in communities without known COVID-19 disease and to support outbreak responses in communities where local cases or clusters of diseases have occurred.

  • Personal Protective Measures. During an outbreak in your community, CDC recommends the everyday preventive measures listed above—especially 🤧staying home when sick—and taking these additional measures:
    • Keeping away from others who are sick.
    • Limiting face-to-face contact with others as much as possible
    • 👩‍⚕️Consulting with your healthcare provider if you or your household members are at high risk for COVID-19 complications
    • 😷Wearing a facemask if advised to do so by your healthcare provider or by a public health official
    • Staying home when a household member is sick with respiratory disease symptoms if instructed to do so by public health officials or a health care provider (Voluntary Home Quarantine)
  • Community Measures. If COVID-19 disease is occurring in your community, state and local public health authorities may decide to implement:
    • Temporary closures or dismissals of childcare facilities and schools
    • Other social distancing measures that increase the physical space between people, including:
      • Workplace social distancing measures, such as replacing in-person meetings with teleworking
      • Modifying, postponing, or canceling mass gatherings.

Decisions about the implementation of community measures will be made by local and state officials, in consultation with federal officials as appropriate, and based on the scope of the outbreak and the severity of illness.  Implementation will require extensive community engagement and ongoing and transparent public health communications.

Nail Salon OUTRAGE!

In Omaha, a beauty salon a Facebook post on racist practices dealing with the Asian community and the Coronavirus was posted.

💆Lash Goddess on 115th and Blondo is a  black woman-owned spa that offers lash and spa services. The owner Mia Will shared a Facebook post showing a white woman giving a client a pedicure.

The post says in part, “Worried about Coronavirus?….let us do your pedicures! According to the state of Nebraska inspector, our 💇spa is VERY clean!”

Julia Gehringer who is Chinese saw it as an insult to all people from 🇨🇳China. The spa owner apologized but  Julia said it was not good enough.

This is what she replied “ [It’s] the kind of apology that says ‘I’m sorry if you were offended’, which is a non-apology. It’s another thing to say I’m sorry you were offended versus I’m sorry I was offensive,”.

Wigs and Weaves OUTRAGE!

Now, the American 💇🏾‍♀️hair care industry said it is feeling the effects of the Coronavirus 🤧disease’s global spread.

Stephanie Nolan, owns a business named XOXO Virgin Hair. She says it has become harder for her to obtain hair from the ⛩️Southeast Asia market as well.

“Due to the🤮 coronavirus, and the measures are taken to cut down on the virus in China, people aren’t allowed to go to, or really return to, work,” she said.

Shannell Wallace said she placed an order in January to buy hair extensions from China. But, more than a month later, that order has yet to reach her doorstep.

She said her vendor told her the coronavirus is to blame.

“They [the vendor] finally reached back out to me and said due to the virus, everyone, I’m guessing, is 🛌🛌quarantined and they’re not able to go to work,” Wallace said.

🤔Hairstyling vs Hair Braiding The REAL Jim Crow of Cosmetology

🤔Hairstyling vs Hair Braiding The REAL Jim Crow of Cosmetology

I agree with 💯Magan Forbes with the deregulation of makeup only because of cosmetic care innovation into advanced skin procedures such as eyelash extensions, chemical peels, and botox injections💉💉 due to the adoption of the “simple hair devices’” allowing cosmetology the use of “needles.”

However, her inability to answer the question clearly to Representative Mason as to “the difference in 💆cosmetic care of the skin” and the personal application of makeup 💄as “professionalism?’

Hairstyling, on the other hand, has been deregulated as from Megan’s own testimony 💬informing but not answering the question. She began by “an example would be Hairbraiding carved out of Hairstyling” same thing as Makeup carved out of cosmetic care.”

I would beg to differ that Makeup would be carved out of 🚫esthetician ONLY!

⛑️Makeup that is FDA safe.

👩‍🎨Makeup airbrush machines compressors with maximum pressurization.

🦠Makeup 3-hour Infection Control annual certification.

Back to hair braiding vs hairstyling, as the Director of ecoHair Braiders Association, I am will to adopt the language of Hairstyling to assist and help ALL 👩‍🎨women and #MenToo👨‍🎨 to abolish the Structural Racism within the beauty industry of these newly formed professions as Hair Artist a more neutral term.

Big Chop Update: Natural Hair Liberation by Rickey Lake

Hi #SuperNaturals,

I’m happy to bring you the good new of our sister being liberated from harsh chemicals, religious hair routine and confinement when your extentions are loose.

We are happy for you Rickey and wish you much success on your Big Chop journey.

Rickeys Words

“Free of the maintenance every 10-12 days, where my added hair would need to be tightened (sometimes painfully) and my gray hair would need to be colored.

I felt like I was a slave to this maintenance schedule.

Rickey Lake Buzz Cut

I wouldn’t go out of town longer than 12 days, because of this. I even brought my hair fairy and dear friend, to London during my stint there to do what she needed to do to keep it on my head.

Well, it is a new year and new decade and a new me.

With the love and support of some of my dearest friends, John Bonny, Mandy Ingber, Sarah Havana Prats, and my love, Jeff Scult, I buzzed my hair off and it feels so good”

😯Why do I need a license to 💇braid hair in Illinois #2020 IL?

Happy New Year!!

Hi, I’m 007 Blon’De an expert on infection control in salons.

I’m going to share with you hair braiding states that are deregulated from cosmetology and barbering.

Let’s begin with your FREE coaching call about Illinois Hair Braiding Licensing at https://payhip.com/OO7BlonDeNaturalHairCare where you can purchase your state’s requirements in a perfect ebook designed just for your hair braiding business.

These are my chosen states with cosmetology deregulation for hair braiding licensing as they are requiring special licensing for hair braiders.

For techniques as minor as cornrowing into patterns or extending with sew-in weaving for Hair Braiders and Natural Hairstylists are required to get an occupational license in hair braiding.

Hair braiders are not conditioning and manipulating the hair strands with chemical hair straightening agents as a cosmetologist does.

Deregulation of state Cosmetology and Barber Boards makes entry barriers for hair braiding creates more women entrepreneurs.
